Google is set to launch the Pixel 8 series of smartphones. The Pixel 8 series will be announced on October 4, 2023. But apart from the high-end models, the company is also expected to launch the low-cost Pixel 8a. more affordable then. Google Pixel 8a design and Display:

The leak was shared by celebrity Abhishek Yadav, who shared live footage of the upcoming device on X formerly Twitter. Looking at the image, we can see that the Pixel 8a comes in a Bright Blue color option. In the tweet, Abhishek said that the Pixel 8a is codenamed Akita and will be powered by the search engine giant’s proprietary Tensor G3 soc the leaked live images give us a look at the device from the side, front, and back.

The Pixel 8a is blue and has a rear design similar to the previous two generations of Pixel 6 and 7. The protruding camera module remains the same but the front shows a change. The first thing to notice is that the overall shape of the chassis is now more rounded, eliminating the relatively sharp corners. Unfortunately, the bezels also seem to have been changed, now significantly thicker. Or at least that’s what we can infer from the leaked images. This would be a tough sell with these glasses, even if it were a cheap device.

We can see a centrally aligned punch-hole for the selfie camera on the front with bezels around the display. Notably, the Google Pixel 8a also has curved edges. This brings its design more in line with other models in the Pixel 8 series similar to previous generation devices, the Pixel 8a retains the same sunshade camera module design as the Pixel 6a and Pixel 7a models.

Conclusion:

Keep in mind that this is an unconfirmed leak, so take these live images with a grain of salt. With the Pixel 8a still far away from launch, it’s likely that the device spotted on the X is just a prototype version. The Pixel 7a launches in May 2023, so the Pixel 8a could have a similar launch time.
