The remake also changes the portrayal of Ashley Graham, the most villainous character. Ashley Graham is the daughter of the President of the United States, whom Leon is tasked with rescuing. RE4make turns Ashley into a helpless damsel in distress and gives her a little more agency in the story. There are other problems with characterizing Ada as a femme fatale, but if there’s one thing she’s always had in abundance, it’s agency. She also serves as a knight in shining armor when Leon finds himself in a difficult situation during the battle with Krauser. Nevertheless, her character description could also be optimized for the Resident Evil 4 remake.
